Common problems, causes and solutions in the process of producing bricks（1）
Most brick factory owners spend a lot of time and energy to begin their brick factory, however, not all of the brick factory has achieved success, the reason is that before starting earth brick factory, they don't have enough research and services. In order to avoid the investment loss of mud brick production, we summarized the common phenomena of brick brick and summarized the common mistakes made by the owners of new brick factory.
1. There was a large crack in the deformed adobe. In more serious cases, the entire adobe will split.
Reason: The plasticity index of the mud is too low and there is almost no plasticity.
Solution: Improve the plasticity of raw materials, such as clay, slime, and mud.
For raw materials with low plasticity index, aging, watering, stirring, rolling, extruding and other methods can also improve its performance.
2. The surface of the adobe is not smooth, obvious particles, more sand pits, corners or grooves are gone.
Reason: The smashing of raw materials does not meet the requirements for making bricks because there are many large particles.
Solution: The installation of precision grinding equipment requires crushing the raw material so that the particles reach 3 mm or less. Some kiln owners are reluctant to spend money on raw material processing equipment, such as roller crushers and double-shaft mixers. Some kilns have only one pair of rollers, some have mixers, and some do not even have. If there are bricks, tiles, stones and other debris in the clay material, how can we get a good brick? Even if it is difficult to send people to clean them up. The fundamental way to solve the problem is to equip auxiliary equipment.
3. The quality of adobe is not stable, sometimes it is very good and sometimes it is bad.
Reason: uneven mixing of raw materials
Solution: Add mixer and feed. Some brick mills are not equipped with rollers and mixers. Even without feeders, all are manually fed into bricks with shovels. This inevitably has two major drawbacks. Raw soil cannot be stirred and mixed. The plasticity of raw soil is not exactly the same, sometimes it is very different. The Yellow River mud is like this. Internal fuels such as coal, coal gangue and slime cannot be uniformly stirred. These two kinds of heterogeneity will inevitably lead to unstable quality of adobes.
